Emily's Koi Pond

  For my piece titled "Koi Pond," I used paper, textured paper, and paint to create this scene.  My piece is dynamic because I used dark spots of blue to add a reflection. I also added depth to the koi by having the sides of the fish fade to a darker color.   When I created this piece I paid attention to the colors that I collaged versus the part that I painted to create balance.  I used textured paper to make the grass look real and add depth.  My hard work paid off because I decided to collage the water and use modge podge which is very time consuming work. I am proud of the work I did.
