Julia's Typography Projects

  1. Whether typography should be expressive or not depends on the use for the typography. When you use words to express something, you should use cool fonts and colors that correspond with the message. After all, color and shape speaks louder than words. For things like business or serious papers- such as dictionaries- you should use modern fonts and simple colors, like black or navy, because the point is the words, not the emotion of the words. I prefer expressive fonts because they are fun- plus, I am not usually too serious.
